I'm a Los Angeles-based composer for film and TV, drawn to character-driven drama and narrative storytelling. I scored the feature Three Colors: Pan African, an anthology exploring contemporary Black life across the diaspora. It won the Grand Jury Prize at the American Black Film Festival, the Audience Award at Slamdance, and the Audience Award for Best U.S. Feature at the Chicago International Film Festival.

My score for My Brother & Me earned a 2025 NAACP Image Award nomination and screened at the American Black Film Festival, the Diversity and Inclusion Film Festival at Lincoln Center, the Reel Black Men Film Showcase, the Micheaux Film Festival, the Oak Park Black Film Festival, and the Newfilmmakers Film Festival, among others. I'm now attached to score the feature adaptation of My Brother & Me, in development with Fusion Entertainment, as reported in Variety. My score for F*ck Feelings screened at the Studio City International Film Festival, LA Shorts Film Festival, Viet Film Festival, and the Women's Film Festival in Philadelphia.

My musical journey began singing gospel in church and jazz in high school. My scores weave deep vocal beds, lyrical melodies, and textured instrumentation into contemporary cinema, and I love collaborating with filmmakers, dancers, artists, and writers looking for soulful, transformative storytelling through sound.

I'm the first composer to receive two Reel Change Grants from New Music USA and Christophe Beck. Reel Change: The Fund for Diversity in Film Scoring is a five-year grant and mentorship program for film composers from backgrounds historically underrepresented in the field.

In 2024, I was a composer-in-residence at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Wildacres Residency, and the Wassaic Project, and in 2023 at Mother's Milk Residency. I was also a mentee in Ghetto Film School's 2023 Emerging Composers Program and took part in a masterclass series hosted by Amanda Jones, with guests including Kris Bowers, Sherri Chung, and Steven Nice.

A graduate of New England Conservatory with a degree in Jazz Composition, I blend hypnotic minimalism and soul, weaving contemporary classical harmony with the lyrical spirit of gospel. Inspired by Julius Eastman, Bach, Philip Glass, and India.Arie, my music radiates hope, tenderness, and a sense of unfolding discovery.
